The underrepresentation of Black people in many disciplines scales from negligible to virtually non-existent.
What started as a response to the New York Black Birder incident became a national movement that served to raise the visibility of and amplify Black voices.
Since then, there has been an explosion of virtual Black In X events that highlight the collective issues Black professionals face on their career journey and to foster community for us and by us.
This website serves as a master calendar for the Black In X events.
Black In X is not a separate entity and thus does not manage any of the other groups.
We are a network and a movement with a unified mission to confront anti-black racism whenever and wherever it surfaces within our communities.
